KIOXIA to Show Off Newest XD8 Data Center SSDs and More at 2024 OCP Global Summit This Week

The SSD Review unfortunately cannot attend but this event is definitely worth the mention!  KIOXIA will be showing off their next generation Enterprise and Data Center SSDs at the 2024 OCP Global Summit in San Jose, California this week.  We just released a post on their newest XD* Data Center SSD and it might be an amazing visit to see this product in live demonstrations.

In addition to the XD8, KIOXIA will have other live demonstrations to include:

  • KIOXIA CD8P Series Data Center NVMe™ SSDs running AiSAQ ANN search to speed up AI applications.
  • Flexible Data Placement (FDP) demonstrating a reduction to SSD write amplification factor (WAF).
  • KIOXIA XD7P Series E1.S Data Center SSDs showing Live Migration to reduce data center down time and enable more effective load balancing without interrupting application workloads.
