TECH NEWS – Although the figure looks like it was drawn by a small child, it seems authentic according to several leakers…
It seems like there have been almost a succession of Nintendo Switch 2 leaks lately. Now, someone has just shown the console’s design for the first time… although it’s still hard to call it a “first look”.
The leak came thanks to a post by Famiboards user ‘Ninspider’. The person shared an “artistic” reconstruction of what the Nintendo Switch 2 is supposed to look like.
Granted, this isn’t the most professional-looking leak we’ve ever seen. However, there seems to be some evidence that what appears to be a child’s MS Paint drawing is a genuine reconstruction of the actual design.
Another leaker going by the name Nate the Hate confirmed that the design is similar to the design he was sent for the console back in September, as revealed on the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit.
“All I can say is that the dock sketch is similar in design/shape to one I was sent several weeks ago…” Nate explained.
“Whether this design has circulated Chinese forums or not, I don’t know; but the general design matches what I was sent in September. Again, haven’t verified the design with any contact/source at this time.”
Nate the Hate has been relatively accurate with a few different Nintendo leaks in the past. So, there is a chance that this drawing is a genuine reproduction of the real Nintendo Switch 2. However, Nate said he’s “working to verify it,” so as always, take it with a grain of salt for now.
This leak follows several other Nintendo Switch 2 pieces of information that have surfaced online over the past week. Including the leak that the NS2 is being referred to internally as the ‘Nintendo Ounce’.
We’ll have to wait for Nintendo’s official announcement to verify these leaks. However, all this will undoubtedly generate a lot of hype about their next console.
